Is that extremely romantic or terribly cheap to say "I love you" for the first time on San Valentine's day?
It's already bad enough that love is being sold as a common object, and that all you can see, EVERYWHERE, are just hearts and red ribbons, but what about these three little words? If you feel them, why not tell before? I mean it is unlikely that you realize you love someone exactly on San Valentine's day, one out of 365 possibility, if you're lucky (366 otherwise). Shouldn't you say THAT in the precise moment you realize that it's true? Or it is nice to wait? It's not like a marriage proposal, that you have to plan, for that, okay maybe could be romantic to wait for this day... MAYBE. Are you that kind of person who likes this kind of stuff?
I don't know, I don't think I would prefer him (because of course it's HIM that HAS to say it first) to wait until that day, that is just some love-day all over the world... I am a little egocentric (as everyone) and the day he will declare his love (or, why not, propose) is gonna be special BECAUSE he did, and not
vice versa!!! The proposal (or whatever) will not take some kind of loveliness thanks to the special day, but another ordinary day will instead become special thanks to the proposal! Isn't this more romantic? And he will also be able to book more easily a nice place!
